Course Instructions and Outline

Welcome!

Welcome to OSHAcademy Online Course 707: Effective Safety Committee Meetings. I'm Steve Geigle and I'll be your online instructor for this course. If you're a safety director, safety committee member, or someone who is getting into the occupational safety and health field, this course will help you plan and conduct safety committee meetings.

Here's how it works
Follow this simple procedure to complete the online training.
  1. Read the course material in each module. I encourage you to print the material to create a notebook. I have found that it's much more likely you'll complete the course if you print and read the material offline.
  2. Complete and submit each module quiz. You will immediately receive a response web page with instant feedback on your answers to the module quiz. It's a good idea to print the feedback page for your records and as a study reference for the final exam. A copy of your coursework is also emailed to me. Normally, because of the ever-increasing workload, I do not "grade: or respond to coursework unless you have a question or something catches my eye.
  3. Once you've finished a module, go on to the next module. No need to wait! No hurry either. You're in control of the pace of learning.
  4. Complete the final exam. Once you've completed all of the modules, return online and click on the link to the final exam (see below). After you submit the final "open book" exam, you'll immediately receive a response web page with my instant feedback on your answers. Remember, to receive an official course completion certificate, you must final exam. I receive an email and will verify your score prior to processing a certificate.

OK, Let's go!

Have fun and study hard. To start, just click on the Course Introduction or Module One below. Remember, if you have questions, just send me an email.
