Feb 2009. Hi Steve, I completed the 5 modules and Final for 711, and ordered TWO (2) original certificates. My next course as I continue working toward the 30-Hour Safety Committee Leader Course, will be 702, effective accident investigation. After 30+ years working in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for pharmaceuticals I am finding the concepts and basis for safety relate very closely to implementing and ensuring quality. Jan 2009. I completed 8 modules for Course 700 and the final exam. I am working toward the 20 Hour Safety Committee Member. I will submit an original certificate to Burt's Bees Inc for each module and save one for myself. I don't know how much time I will have to work on each module to complete this Certificate, so I'll just pay as I go and when I get there.. I get there.. I am very much enjoying the journey. Dec 2008. On-line safety training can matter in another important way. I am enrolled in Columbia Southern University. I am working towards my BS degree in Safety and Occupational Health. "I'd say "Damn"... but I'll go down to a more non-Ironworker "Shucks" No I knew of course that there was no guarantees; but I want to be able to tell the others the value of these courses over the perceived value of an OSHA 500. These give you a great overview into everything one doesn't know about safety management... and the certificate is probably more valuable than the State of Nevada's "SAFETY PRACTITIONER" cert.... their courses again are about the same amount of information but the courses are only taught during "normal" business hours...."
