Hi! Thanks for your interest in our training. I have earned a B.S. degree in general science and a M.A. in communications. More recently, I've earned two graduate-level certificates; Training and Development, and Managing the Training Function. I am a Certified Safety Health Manager (CSHM), awarded by the Institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM) and a Certified Environmental, Safety & Health Trainer (CET), awarded by the National Environmental, Safety and Health Training Association (NESHTA). And, of course, I'm a member of the National Safety Management Society (NSMS) and a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).

I have over 30 years experience as an educator in a wide range of subjects including occupational safety and health, organizational development, leadership, management, international relations, business, communications and strategic planning. I've also served the business community as a human resource manager, safety director, and training manager in both the private and public sectors.

As a 16-year veteran Senior Safety Training Specialist and Online Training Program Manager with the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division (OR-OSHA), I presented well over a thousand workshops and conference seminars for employers and employees throughout the Pacific Northwest in the USA.

The online training I developed for Oregon OSHA proved very popular, but there was no way to provide this instructor-dedicated interactive online education to the many non-Oregon residents who expressed an interest in participating. To fill the need, I partnered with the National Safety Management Society as their Director of Online Education to develop and provide free and low-cost internet-based online education to anyone, anytime, anywhere...from Boston to Bahrain.

I've received numerous requests to travel to conduct training locally. However, I'm 100% dedicated to the only training mission, so I'm not available to conduct classroom or on-site training at this time. You can contact me via email or by calling (503) 292-0654.
