So Far, So Good, Once Again

A correspondent came across this exciting scene while he was doing charity work in Romania.
What is interesting is that these two fellows aren’t entirely oblivious to hazards. One guy is holding the ladder so it doesn’t slip. But in this case, falling off a ladder seems like the least of their worries. Now they will both get zapped if the ladder touches a live wire.
I’m never quite sure why people assume all those wires overhead are harmless. Because birds perch on them and seem to be OK? Because squirrels can use them as shortcuts across a busy street?
Not good reasons, folks. There’s definitely a time to call the guys who strung those wires in the first place.
