Safety and the Supervisor. Supervisors get paid to be efficient managers and effective leaders. This 4-8 hour course will help new supervisors gain a greater understanding of their responsibility to provide a physical resources and psychosocial support to ensure work areas are safe and healthful. They will learn about the requirements of adequate supervision and effective safety training. Emphasis is placed on administering appropriate and effective accountability through the application of positive and negative consequences.
